I visited a small, old cemetery on a tiny back road, and was touched to find it very well tended, with flowers (artificial, but clearly new) on every grave.

The time of year makes the barn especially lovely--all the delicate new leaves like lace around it.

And wow, that gravestone is from the 1700s!

I would love to prowl that cemetery; the oldest POSSIBLE thing I can find in my area is 1845, and realistically 1860.

I couldn't quite read all of the inscription of the tombstone. Do you know what all it says?
