Warning-- last pic is a closeup of a bee.

These birds were just bird-shapes on the far side of the river, but when something isn't obviously something common (mallard or Canada goose or seagull) I'll snap a couple of pics. I'm thinking hooded mergansers? Which makes a lifebird for me if I'm right.

Met these two characters at the Vermont Maple Museum.

Spring may be coming, but look at all that ice!

Snow goose! In my backyard!

Didn't quite get the focus on this one but-- a bee! There are still big patches of snow, for crying out loud!
