snow goose in snow

Snow goose in snow. I was able to get a bit closer today. The Canada geese weren't around to shout an alarm; and I "grazed" my way towards the goose, trying to behave like an herbivore rather than a stalking carnivore. Still didn't get very close.

nuthatch

A chilly nuthatch took a break on my deck rail.
