Pics-- mostly Shelburne Museum

The Ticonderoga, head-on! (at Shelburne Museum)

Colchester Lighthouse. The quarters are a bit roomy, compared to some lighthouses I've visited-- 8 small rooms in all. But when you consider that two of the keepers raised families in there-- 5 and 7 children, respectively-- and that it originally sat on an island with just barely room to walk around the outside of the building-- yikes! (One of the 5 children in the first family took over the job, and raised his 7 children there-- 40 years in that building!)

I loved this sculpture.

The Ticonderoga again. We couldn't go on board because of a wedding reception.

These weren't at the museum-- they were parked in front of a house near Whisper's barn.
