Elephants!

The car did get finished by mid afternoon, so I called my friend Irene and asked for a ride to the garage. I intended to grocery shop afterwards, so I grabbed a couple of reusable bags-- bags from a wildlife charity, with colorful patchwork elephants all over. Irene completely lit up at the sight of them! She liked them so much that when she dropped me off, I asked if she would accept one, and she uncharacteristically said yes! Later she sent me a text with a long row of elephants, hearts and smiles.
