kayre... of my inner dialogue in a fabric store.
"Wow, the quilt templates I came for are crazy expensive!"
"Oh come on, self, why are you so cheap? They cost less than a fast food meal each."
"Well.... oh look, fat quarters are 10 for $10!" *grabs 10*
"I guess since I'm buying these, I'll get just the most helpful template.... oh no, I don't have my phone for discount coupons!"
"Well.... maybe the clerk can get a coupon for me. And if not, maybe I can be wild and crazy and buy it anyway."
Happy ending: the very sweet clerk was indeed able to scan a coupon for me.
