This makes me wonder if some women's magazine of the era published some "helpful tips for managing your family meals" article with some sample rotations...
Our family dinners tended to come from a fairly small pool of recurring items, but it wasn't as regimented as this. It was more that spaghetti, meatloaf, tuna casserole, and Hamburger Helper were all pretty easy.
