I hung up a new feeder today; this perky titmouse was my first customer.
Holding a bit of tortilla between its 'toes' to eat.
Lone osprey. I'm rather hoping this one doesn't rebuild; this nest is in a tree very close to a road that's heavily used after Memorial Day. They nest there in April and lay eggs, then abandon the nest when suddenly there's much more traffic.
