Very tiny shelf fungus and moss.

Lake Champlain is at its highest ever recorded level, and still rising. Our beloved Button Point is entirely under water-- in fact I'm pretty sure the bottom two steps have washed away entirely.

A few years ago a big tree trunk washed up on the point, and has been our favorite seat ever since. It's gone now.

Back at home, a female brown-headed cowbird; I wasn't aware until today that the males and females looked different.
