What little damage Irene did here is mostly cleared up, so this section of trail was a surprise. It's even worse than it looks; where there is the most driftwood and debris, the trail underneath has washed away.



Usually I sit on this bridge and watch herons down below; I was amused to find this one in 'my' spot today, sunning, or fishing from a high vantage point.
