Tentative layout for my latest quilt. I want to rotate one of the stars. Still need to add black edges to make the star blocks as big as the dragon blocks, then I assemble, add a border and quilt.
I walked at a new park today, one with a story. Sycamore Park was a trailer park until it was wiped out by flooding 15 years ago-- very dramatic rescues as the water rose incredibly quickly. Afterwards a number of different organizations and agencies got together to buy the land and create the park. In typical Vermont fashion, this chunk of crumpled metal was left as a memorial to the disaster.
