(no subject)

Yesterday I regretfully took down the hummingbird feeder and replaced it with a regular birdfeeder. Since it’s in a spot that isn’t easily accessible for squirrels, I put in a mix with all the good stuff-- sunflower seeds, peanuts, pecan bits, raisins, etc. A black capped chickadee just visited it twice; the words will spread quickly now. I’m looking forward to a winter of close-up birdwatching-- this feeder hangs about 8 feet from my favorite chair.

(The Buxtehude went pretty well, especially second service. Yay!)
