(no subject)

NaNoWriMo update: 1888 words today, for a total of 3953. Just a bit beneath my personal goal of 2000 words per day, but Chapter One is just... done. I’m not going to force myself to insert more just to make the word count. Besides, I have a lot to do to outline tomorrow’s writing.

Now I'm sitting around watching Notre Dame succumb to the Curse of the Green Jerseys. *grumble*

I left Stephanie Plum at Subway!

Or at least, a book about her. A library copy, too, so of course I had to go back. When I got there, it was still on the windowsill.. underneath the jacket of one of the three teenage boys sitting at the table we had vacated. I smiled and asked for it, and this cute Asian boy stared at me blankly while trying to wipe the teriyaki sauce off his fingers; finally one of his buddies s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d across the table, retrieved the book and handed it to me.

Since I was out anyway, I picked up a copy of Galaxy Quest; it’s just as funny the second time around, though it's a bit unnerving seeing Professor Snape on the crew.
