The kidlet had a dental checkup today. 18 years and never a cavity! They took Xrays and came out to tell me that she has only one wisdom tooth.
The weirdness is.... we had her Xrayed when she was 14, because my wisdom teeth came in several years early and screwed up all my orthodontic work. And in those Xrays four years ago.... she had three wisdom teeth! Apparently two reabsorbed-- not unheard of, but rare.
Naturally the one that is still there is the one that was impacted. Poor kidlet.
