The snow gods hate me.

Around noon the mom of one of my piano students called, to ask if I wanted to cancel because of weather. I said no; the wind which had threatened to blow the house down overnight had died down, and only light snow was falling. So a bit ago I got into my trusty Honda and headed off... and slid twice in the first 3 miles, so I turned around, came home, and called to cancel after all. This is my third (unpaid) holiday from piano lessons in 2003, not to mention any number of personal plans disrupted by snow. Enough already!
