Spent some time last night and today laying out and cutting pattern pieces for a tank top and jacket. Since the fabric is lightweight wool, I can probably expect the first warm spell of the year in a week or two, when I’m putting finishing touches on the jacket, right?
Kidlet was feeling restless today, so she came to the church and did homework while I practiced. Every time I paused, she came to me with a question or two from her homework. At one point I told her I really needed to play one piece with no interruption; when I was done, I thanked her, and she said, “No problem-- I like listening to you play.” This from a teenager? Wow!
“The Allied High Command didn’t expect Von R----- to do anything unexpected.” Um... right. Great writing, History Channel!
I’m still feeling stressed-- coping pretty well but dark moods hit occasionally. Still fighting the tendency to curl up someplace dark and hide, especially when I’m tired.
