(no subject)

Woke up with a mildly sore ankle today. Quickly realized two things:
1) Sometime in the last week or so I have stopped taking any painkillers or antiinflammatories for the ankle.
2) Yesterday I practiced, grocery shopped, walked Whisper for a while, AND climbed up and down (twice) the ditch I planted the car in, in 8 inches of crunchy-topped snow-- and it’s just a little sore (and a bit blotchy and swollen).
I do believe the silly thing is almost all better!

More good news

I’m not the only one getting around better. Full story in a few days, after we see the vet-- but after making some changes in her treatment, Whisper is suddenly improving by leaps and bounds (literally-- she’s back in her regular pasture with her buddies, and running and playing comfortably).

Now maybe I can stop having nightmares about her... though having nightmares about a mare is strangely appropriate, somehow.
