Sep. 7th, 2003 10:53 pmChurch went pretty well today. The piano is distressingly out of tune; calling the tuners isn't my job, sadly, but it's generally done in October so I shouldn't have to endure for very long.
Ever since I found out that Warren Dunes State Park connects to Weko Beach more than two miles north, I've wanted to walk from one to the other... of course, all the ankle injuries interfered with that. Finally did it today. The air was amazingly clear; we could see the Weko beachhouse from more than two miles away. Otherwise the walk was pretty but uneventful.
Had to drive past the only A&W restaurant in the area on the way home, so I undid the health benefits of the walk with a chili dog, onion rings, and root beer in a frosty mug. It was worth it.
