Mar. 17th, 2004 10:26 pmHubby is being sent on a business trip tomorrow. The company never has employees drive their own vehicles out of town, so early this evening I dropped him off at the rental car, and proceeded on to choir rehearsal.
Hours later, I pulled into my driveway-- and the car I was driving was already there. It was incredibly disorienting; I actually sat for a moment and looked at the controls of my car, and the hood, to be sure I was really driving the gold Blazer, because the gold Blazer was already parked on the driveway.
Yes, the rental car is identical to one we own (well, okay, it's cleaner). Bizarre!
