One camera can't be in two places
Sep. 3rd, 2004 09:03 pmHubby had today off, so we went to Grand Rapids for shopping and lunch and good times together. Naturally chrysalis #1 chose this time to become butterfly #1; the kidlet released it about an hour before we got home. #2 should open this weekend, so hopefully I can get pics of it. (Oh, caterpillar #5 is hanging from the roof of his jar now-- he's the last one.)
But... I'm glad I took the camera. We were driving around in a big shopping area when the hubby looked into one of those lovely landscaped drainage ponds and exclaimed, "there's a white heron in there!" Turned out to be a great egret, not a heron, which makes it one for my lifelist!
