Only had 2 piano lessons today; almost cancelled but I'm glad I didn't. First, as I left to go to lessons, I had to pause to let three deer cross the road, very close to home. Then both lessons were quite enjoyable (though the boy isn't practicing much). Then hubby called to say I didn't need to hurry home so he could have the car... so I went shopping. Besides the padded envelopes that I truly needed, I picked up: 1 bag of the world's best barbecue potato chips (Mikesell's); one ivory "linen" suit (pants and short sleeve jacket); one red tank and shirt set (I am so ready for Pentecost!); and two bags of frozen pearl onions. Believe it or not, the onions probably make me happiest!
Hubby leaves for Vermont in the morning, for a job interview Friday. I'm typing with all available fingers crossed.
Kidlet and I are also leaving, for a mini vacation, overnight in South Bend. She had almost no break between spring and summer semesters, and is stressing over the whole move thing; hope this helps. I suspect we'll put a moratorium on talking about the move, except when hubby phones.
