allisona enriched my life today; let's see if I can pass it along!

It all started when

allisona posted about worm composting and linked to this site. I was intrigued, and wondered if the worms are easily available in the US, since that site is Canadian. I googled, and found that they are.

But the fun doesn't stop there! That site linked to tons of information about organic farms all over the US. So then I found a local CSA farm that does weekly produce packages, and another that raises chickens and sheep. Did y'all knitters just perk up? Yes, they sell yarn spun from their own sheep. And there are cute pictures of sheep and chickens and eggs at that last link, too!
