A challenge
Sep. 26th, 2007 11:22 pmSo, I volunteered to be my church's prayer coordinator, and they accepted.
What I'm doing, at this point at least, is coordinating a prayer chain, and writing paragraphs about prayer for the church newsletter. I may also end up coordinating special help when someone needs it, like food or hospital visits, so I might be Member Care Coordinator.
Pastor commented tonight that we need an official title for me, and that she's found herself calling me three different things (which means she's talking about me an awful lot..hmmm....), and asked what I'd like to be called-- which implies to me that maybe she thinks Prayer Coordinator doesn't quite work. So I'm working on that.... but I also want a couple of really silly suggestions to toss out at a meeting tomorrow, just to liven things up.
So, given my duties-- give me a nice silly title! Irreverent is fine-- in fact, irreverent is great!
