Police ushered, to Otter creek, a beaver that had been ambling along Main Street and Merchants row on April 10.

I saw this lovely thing sitting in a tree beside Route 7 so I pulled over like the crazy person I am and snapped pics. Next thing I knew a crow dove towards the hawk, and the hawk dove-- towards me! It didn't really come close but I ducked anyway, and certainly wasn't thinking about taking pictures. (I'm not sure what type of hawk it is, and not sure if the pic shows enough to tell.)
