A bit of excitement here today. I was napping (still have a cold) when I heard a cat jumping at one of the French doors repeatedly. Opened my eyes and saw this-- a goldfinch clinging to the screen, and Nala trying her best to get to it. I thought for a moment that it had hit the screen and door hard enough to be hurt, and gotten caught, but when I walked over it opened its eyes and looked at me. It was just dozing! After taking this pic, I opened the other door and it flew away normally. Nala kept watching for it for another hour!
