I laid out the pieces for the center square of my next project today. I was intending to do the square on a cream background, with soft brown triangles at the corners-- but the colors pop so much on a dark background, now I'm thinking soft brown for the background as well. Which means I actually have to buy some fabric, which means I'm headed south tomorrow, because I've already checked the JoAnn's in Burlington without finding what I want. Mini road trip!
