I have to admit I'm not sure what this bird is, and can't get into my online nature guide to figure out!
Our boycats haven't slept together regularly since they were kittens, but this has been the scene for the last 10 nights or so. Oscar's not entirely happy but they're staying together for hours.
One of the neighbors is feeling a bit testy.
