pre-Christmas grumbles
The current schedule at the church, begun last year, is that Christmas Eve services are at 4 and 8 p.m. This leaves me entirely alone at dinner time, much too far away to get home to family; or at best eating microwave meals with them, just the three of us, at the church. Is it really odd of me to be a bit sad about this?
