
Finally got in some more sewing time. Click through to see the fun method for making these.

I began by cutting-- not triangles-- squares! And marked a diagonal line on the back of each yellow square.

Then I stacked a yellow and green square, right sides together, and sewed 1/4 inch away from that line, on both sides of the line.

A cut along that original line, and press them open, and then I have TWO identical squares. A lovely time saver: squares are much easier to cut than triangles, and pinning once yields two squares.
