It is amazing how time passing can work those changes. I have been more comfortable these past couple of Sundays at St John's than I have been in a while...after not having been even in the building since January.

And there is also for knowing that something will be a continuing part of life, too. My family moved away from my hometown the week I finished high school. And seven years later, I took a job in that town and moved back. And that started with a weird combination of discovering what had changed in that time and rediscovering things I loved about a town that I had been excited to leave.

And hooray for short notice substitutes!
