kayreStill writing. Still going pretty well. It’s not great stuff, but I think I might have something worth polishing later. New characters keep inventing themselves. Gus is awfully cute, I must admit.
Practice went well. Did library circulation all by myself, including sorting out a mess caused by a mis-carded book. Caught up on Bible study, took the kid to the stable, even cooked dinner (chili).
Got caught today. I was typing on the laptop at the stable (current stable has a clean enough waiting room to risk it, yay!). Went out to the arena to take a few pictures. When I returned to the waiting room, the grandmother whose adorable granddaughter I had been photographing admitted that she had peeked at my computer screen, and noticed that the document was entitled “Chapter Seven.” “Are you writing a book?” Admitted I was, told her about NaNoWriMo... it was a very strange feeling. First real-life person I’ve told other than family.
