Pictures from a Fair
Aug. 18th, 2004 10:30 pmWe're pretty busy at the Fair, but we try very hard to make time to watch Llama Showmanship. The competitors have to lead their llamas over, under and through a bunch of obstacles that, clearly, no self-respecting llama wants to be anywhere near. There's a major advantage to having a short llama!

Of course, anything involving small children and animals is worth watching.

Baby animals are so cute and ...cuddly? and small?
(Yes, it's a baby draft horse, not even weaned yet. They start big and grow fast-- this one is nearly Whisper's height!)

Now that today's events are over, it's time for some quick coaching for tomorrow's new challenges.

It was a long, long day. (Not my kidlet-- one of her friends.)
