kayreFair ends at 11 tonight.. but for me it ended at 5. I seem to have caught a cold, so hubby is taking the evening duty, and I'm staying home to rest. (He was going to take over at 9 p.m. anyway, since I play tomorrow.) Nothing left but Parade of Champions (all the Fair trophy winners get a tractor ride around the fairgrounds, and a brief ceremony) and then trailering Whisper home.
The oldest two Monarch caterpillars are enormous now-- they'll probably head for the roof to form chrysalises very soon. You can see past pictures of them here.
Um, boys? You're supposed to ride your horses across those!
Even Dressage has its silly moments, at least at this level-- this pair was getting ready for their Dressage Freestyle performance. Love the shoes!
