A hermit thrush... not a life bird for me, but the best pic I've ever gotten of one.



Alder flycatcher-- and this one IS a lifebird.



Fall color is just about at peak here.



Oak leaves looking like Christmas has come.



The woods look ancient, somehow; most of the low shrubs have lost their leaves, leaving the ferns, which are very large and turning golden.
