Same downy. Do you suppose the folks across the street would paint their house a medium shade, so I have less trouble with backlighting? If I ask really nicely?
It's through a fence, and it's a touch blurry-- what's amazing is this is neither zoomed nor cropped. It's really that close!
Same bird (probably a harrier). I watched him hunt the field in front of me for nearly 5 minutes.
