This road has the charming name of "State Prison Hollow Road." I assume there was a prison somewhere nearby at some time, but it's long gone, apparently. (My "Mist on the Mountains" pics a couple of days ago were taken near the row of pines along the road.)
We finally have a dusting of snow, and it didn't melt in the sun today.
