Found this behind a local church. Apparently their preschool takes their sledding seriously!

Bluebirds are more common here than in Michigan, but seeing one still makes me smile.

Walking down a subdivision street, I caught this lovely glimpse of downtown Vergennes. The water tower is tallest. The spires to the left are the Episcopalian church; the bell tower in front of the water tower is the Methodist church. The triangular facade next to the bell tower is the Vergennes Opera House.
