I've actually seen and photographed bald eagles in the wild, on our vacation to Canada several years ago. But when I read on a mailing list last night that two had been fishing about 5 miles downriver from our house, I had to go take a look-- and they were still there!
I may go back tomorrow equipped to stay and watch for a while, if they are still there.
