A new perspective: this is Otter Creek along my backyard, looking south-- from about 15 feet out on the ice. Normally the view south is blocked by the brush along the bank.
I'm not sure what kind of buds or berries these are, but don't they look cool?
Cedar seed pods. I'm rather pleased with this pic.
