We had nearly half an inch of ice built up everywhere this morning.
Shortly after noon a chickadee showed up, and determinedly chipped his way through the ice to the suet cake.
Late in the afternoon I went out on the deck to top off the feeders for tomorrow. Movement caught my eye, and I was stunned to see seven wild turkeys moving along our brook! I barely reached the camera in time to get this snap of the last three moving away.
