Vergennes is hosting the All-State Scholastic Music Festival this week. Today was band day, celebrated with a two-hour long parade through town, whee!



I wasn't expecting elementary school marching bands! Aren't they cute?

The idea was to keep the bands a block apart, but it didn't always work out that way.



Out of focus, but still a lucky shot. I knew my houseguest tonight was a girl in this band, playing baritone sax; that's her pretty much dead center. She's a nice kid.
