Election day. The group is from a local school/court diversion program. The two demonstrators are far too close to the door to the polling place; when they saw me with the camera they moved in a hurry.
The day after. I'm now connected enough in this small town that I knew three candidates, and was delighted to see that Diane, just down the street, is my new representative to the state House.
Deer! not a common sight the way they were back in Michigan.
We're having a bit of Indian Summer right now, but I was still startled to see bees (and a snake) after weeks of below-freezing nights. It was pretty sluggish, though!
