This was a bit of an ID challenge. It's a first-year male redwinged blackbird (born last spring). Was also a challenge photographically as I accidentally took the pic with the camera on the wrong setting, so it's heavily edited!





My mystery bird of the day-- I think it's a Savannah sparrow.
