Kid's work had a bunch of perfectly lovely sandwiches, surplus from a catering job yesterday-- so she brought home a bag full of cold roast beef sandwiches last night.
Today I took them with me to practice at the church. There were ladies all over the church getting ready for a bazaar tomorrow, so at noon we shared sandwiches all around and had a great time. They're BIG sandwiches, so we cut them in half, and I still had two sandwiches left.
This evening I took those apart. Toasted the buns, cooked some bacon and warmed up the meat. Opened a few of the mayonnaise packets that were included, stirred in some horseradish. Rebuilt everything, and presto-- dinner for me and the hubby!
