I visited a small, old cemetery on a tiny back road, and was touched to find it very well tended, with flowers (artificial, but clearly new) on every grave.
Yes, I am reading right now that the earliest burial there was 1743. The pic is of the grave of one of the eight Revolutionary War soldiers buried there.
