I don't generally use scented products, but during a particularly stressful time last fall I bought some scented hand lotion, and began a ritual of spreading it on my hands and then inhaling the scent for a few breaths. That has taken on a whole new significance lately. ("Yes, I still have my sense of smell today.")

I finished and delivered my big quilt project-- a baby quilt and two big sister quilts. I believe you can click through the little thumbnail above. I have one other project underway, a piece for church, but wanted to start something else for fun. Two of my treasures are doll quilts made by my grandmothers-- both made with 1 inch pieces (hexagons, in one case!). I'm not willing to work that small, and I always put my own twist on things.. so I'm taking all my mask-making scraps, and cutting an assortment of 2" and 3" squares, and 2" and 3" half-square triangles, so that I can make various 6" blocks. I may also cut some 4" squares of animal prints like the ones in that project, to really mix it up.
