kayreWith regret, I decided not to attend today's rally against racism downtown. I'm worried about social distancing, and also about the heat. Instead, I offered to drive my pastor there and pick her up, so that she doesn't have to worry about parking, and about extra walking to and from her car.
As I left to pick her up, I remembered how often she skips lunch, and grabbed a cold juice box and a couple of portable snacks. She consumed it all on the way downtown, which makes me feel a lot better about her wellbeing at the rally!
