Making progress

For anyone who's worried, I'm doing okay... making progress towards going home, probably Tuesday. If you want to send good thoughts etc., focus on good blood work results tomorrow morning.

I'll be getting a PICC line, and on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks-- need to be 100% sure this bug is gone. I'm also only allowed to walk with a walker, 25% weight on the foot; that at least should improve quickly.

I am still crazy glad of the "Available Anytime" menu, and having fun playing with it. For example, can get a hot or cold sandwich off the lunch or dinner menu, and add bacon from the breakfast section.

Weekends in the hospital are notoriously Not Good, and my Saturday was even worse than that.. but then I got one of the wonder nurses, and she was so concerned about my Saturday stories that she made sure I had another Wonder Nurse today.

So glad to hear you are making progress!!! That is all good news. I don't like antibiotics at all, they are so hard on our poor bodies - BUT I am SO glad that they do exist and can be used when really needed, like in your case.
Definitely sending you good thoughts.
