I've been reflecting that I seem to be one of the only people for whom 2022 was better than 2021-- and that's despite almost dying in the spring. See, on 1/2/2021 I escaped from a horrible soul-killing situation, so when I almost died I was at least surrounded by loving, supportive people.

But it would be really nice if 2023 has the loving supportive part without the almost dying part. And I hope lots of other people manage their escapes, if needed, and find their new safe places.

I had a decent 2022 as well, though there were significant low points. 2023 began with travel-induced depression, so I really hope that doesn't continue.
