Spent some time experimenting with applique and embroidery techniques today. New machine sure does these better than the old! I'd rather do applique where the edges are turned under, but the zigzag edge is fast and looks pretty sharp.





Pitied the poor birds outside today, in rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow!
